Ramiz Raja, a former Pakistani cricketer, praised Babar Azam for his flawless and consistent performance on the cricket field.
In a recent statement, Raja praised Azam’s extraordinary performance in a Twenty20 International match against New Zealand, where he scored his third century, and praised his aesthetically appealing style of play.
“Babar Azam performed a genuinely brilliant innings; he always appears magnificent on the field and has an aesthetically pleasing manner. “He executes his shots flawlessly and plays until the end, seldom leaving the game,” he said.

“His risk-free batting approach has made him a reliable performer. He is on the verge of attaining yet another landmark (most T20 hundreds),” he continued.
The 60-year-old acknowledged that Babar’s records and achievements will be evaluated and remembered differently in cricket’s annals because his playing manner was distinct from that of Chris Gayle, who holds the record for the most T20 centuries.

Notably, the 28-year-old has set a number of T20I records, making him a valuable asset to the Pakistan cricket team. He is the first captain in cricket history to achieve three centuries in the shortest format.
In addition, Azam has tied the record for the most T20I victories as a captain with 42 victories, placing him on par with the former captains of Afghanistan and England, Asghar Afghan and Eoin Morgan.
