Supposedly, Manobala passed away at his residence in Chennai. In Chennai, his mortal remains will be interred at his residence on LV Prasad Road, Saligramam.

Manobala’s career and lifestyle
Manobala made his acting début in 1979 with the film Puthiya Vaarpugal by Bharathiraja. Over the years, he has played supporting roles in several hundred films. Reportedly, he joined Bharathiraja as an associate director on Kamal Haasan’s recommendation. His last screen appearance was in Ghosty, directed by Kajal Aggarwal. The actor was well-known for his comedic roles.
In 1982, he debuted as a director with Agaya Gangai and has since overseen nearly 25 films. Pillai Nila, Oorkaavalan, En Purusshanthaan Enakku Mattumthaan, Karuppu Vellai, Mallu Vetti Minor, and Paarambariyam are among his most popular films.
