“Jogira Sara Ra Ra,” starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Neha Sharma, has been given a U/A rating by the Central Board of Film Certification prior to its release. The producers were instructed to remove carnal terminology from the film.
A news website reports that the words ‘ghapa ghap’ have been removed from ‘Jogira Sara Ra Ra’. Interestingly, the CBFC approved the same terms for Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal’s 2018 film ‘Sanju’.
The CBFC has imposed a total of seven edits, including the removal of phrases such as “daal de…mere” and “Chub raha hai.”
A request was made to substitute finger gestures with appropriate visuals, while a curse word and another scene were removed. ‘Jogira Sara Ra Ra’ is a 121-minute film directed by Kushan Nandi.
‘Jogira Sara Ra Ra’ was originally scheduled to be released on May 12, but its producers recently announced that it will now be released on May 26.
Reports disclosed exclusively the reason for the same. A source close to the situation stated, “The Kerala Story is performing well in theaters, and additional films are releasing. Therefore, the producers of Jogira Sara Ra Ra decided to postpone the film’s release.”
