Today, the Finance Bill 2023 was given the thumbs up by the Lok Sabha. Nirmala Sitharaman, who is the Minister of Defense for the Union, presented the bill to the Parliament. This measure ultimately went through 45 different amendments.
The minister has indicated that a committee would be established to investigate the matter of pensions for public servants.
The Lok Sabha voted in favor of passing the Finance Bill earlier today. The law ultimately won approval despite having 45 changes made to it. While the opposition is calling for a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) to investigate the Adani problem, the Center has already passed the Finance Bill.

Nirmala Sitharaman, who serves as the Minister of Finance for the Union of India, presented the Finance Bill 2023 to the Lok Sabha this morning. The minister disclosed that there is a proposal to organize a committee that would look into the pensions of those who work for the government.
She stated that a decision regarding the use of credit cards for payments on international vacations will be made by the RBI. Once the Finance Bill was finally approved, the session of the Lok Sabha was put on hold till the following Monday.
