With the re-release of their iconic film, “Gadar: Ek Prem Katha,” actors Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel are poised to make you nostalgic.
Sunny and Ameesha took to Instagram on Thursday to share the news with their admirers and followers. On June 9, audiences can once again view the film in theaters.
Intriguingly, the creators have remastered the ‘Gadar’ 4K edition.”Wohi prem, wohi katha, par iss baar alag hoga ehsaas! “On June 9th, #Gadar will return to theaters for a limited time in 4K and Dolby Atmos sound,” Sunny wrote on Instagram.
“Gadar,” will be shown in theaters again on 9th June 2023
On Friday, the trailer for the remastered version will be released.The 2001 release of the romantic-action film directed by Anil Sharma and starring Ameesha Patel during the Partition of India made box office history.In the film, the late Amrish Puri played a pivotal role.
Tara Singh (portrayed by Sunny), a Sikh lorry driver from Amritsar, falls in love with Sakina (portrayed by Ameesha), a Pakistani Muslim lady from a political family who hails from Lahore.The re-release of ‘Gadar’ coincides with the cast’s preparations for a sequel.
On August 11, 2023, ‘Gadar 2’ will conflict with Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’ in a major way.’Gadar 2′ is directed by Anil Sharma and stars Utkarsh Sharma in the main roles. In the first installment, Utkarsh portrayed the role of Sunny and Ameesha’s son.
