Arpita Khan Sharma, sister of actor Salman Khan, was implicated in a larceny case. Her apartment was broken into and a pair of diamond stud earrings valued at a staggering Rs 5 lakh were taken.
As soon as she realized that money was missing from the makeup container, she lodged a police report. Without delay, the Mumbai Police initiated an investigation that led to the identification of the perpetrator.
The thief was the housekeeper for Arpita and Ayush, Sandip Hegde. The 30-year-old individual is from the Vile Parle East settlements of Ambewadi. Hegde was shockingly recruited as a housekeeper at the home of Arpita Khan Sharma.
The police apprehended Hegde the very same evening the incident was reported. The stolen diamond earrings, which were meticulously concealed in Arpita’s cosmetics container, were quickly recovered from Hegde’s residence.
Sandip Hegde was remanded to police detention after his apprehension. He was accused with larceny by a servant under Section 381 of the Indian Penal Code.
