The BJP allegedly disregarded former deputy chief minister Lakshmana Savadi by fielding Mahesha Kumathalli. Laxman Savadi focused everyone’s attention on the next move following the Athena ticket.
Tuesday night, at 9 p.m., the BJP released its list of candidates. A strong candidate for the Athena field Savadi told The New Indian Express that he would appeal to the High Command to reconsider its decision.
My supporters and Athena meet the people and decide on the next step, and I will run for election if people want to.
On April 13, my supporters and Athena will meet with the people to determine the next step, and if the people desire it, I will run for office,” he stated. If his supporters are in the spotlight, Savadi is willing to contend as a non-party representing the Authority.
Four years ago, during the by-election, BS Yadurappa, Shetter, and KS Ishwarappa had promised to field candidates for the 2023 election. Whether or not he promised me a ticket, he must vow before the Dhastra Manjunatha and, if he refuses, be forced to retire.
He stated that Bommai had promised to nominate candidates for the 2023 election when the MLC was no longer eligible. “For the past two decades, I have been a loyal sipaya of the party and have labored sincerely hard for the development of the party. I request that the party does not lose its most devoted member. Savadi stated that I would request that the party reconsider its decision and nominate me as a candidate for the Authority.
According to sources, Lakshmana Savadi was already in contact with Congress and would run for Congress if the BJP nomination was denied. In response to Savadi’s desire to join Congress, the announcement of an Athenae candidate has been known to be delayed by Congress.
Savadi honored several politicians, including his mentor, the late Anant Kumar, and the chief minister, Basavaraja Bommai.
I have never been a leopard to the people who have graced me at the Athena polling station for the past 30 years. As a devoted member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, I have served as a lawmaker, minister, and deputy chief minister with your support. My current political existence is difficult.

I require each of you. I have already garnered opinions from diverse communities. Each community has proposed support. Savadie said, “I am a cheetah because of your support” as he thanked the numerous political leaders who had helped them advance, including their political mentor, the late Anant Kumar, and the chief minister, Basawaraja Bommai.
