On the eve of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar’s birthday, Tilak Journalism and Mass Communication School hosted a banquet under the theme of social harmony. Everyone in the class brought refreshments from home. After integrating, the entire student body shared a meal. This communion, according to Professor Prashant Kumar, is a symbol of social harmony and conveys the message of peace and brotherhood.
Ideas presented in the seminar
Prior to this, Dr. Ambedkar’s journalistic contributions were discussed. The keynote speaker, Surendra Singh, stated that Dr. Ambedkar stated that the first duty of every citizen is to consider himself an Indian from birth to death and nothing else. Ambedkar was an exceptional pupil. He was a student at the prestigious London School of Economics and Polytechnic Science due to his abilities.
Introduced new standard
He fought to end the high-pitched spirit that pervaded society. As a consequence of their efforts, the Indian Constitution was amended to include provisions for the advancement of the underprivileged. According to Dr. Manoj Kumar Srivastava, Dr. Ambedkar stated that social inequality is a barrier to India’s equality. National identity cannot be cognizant of social differences. In 1920, Dr. Ambedkar began editing the silent hero biweekly newspaper. After that, the excluded India, the public, and the enlightened India were published. Dr. Abedkar emphasized the importance of newspaper and magazine credibility and integrity.
