At the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, which was being hosted by Stephen Stills as part of his Light Up the Blues concert, which was a benefit for the organization Autism Speaks, Neil Young and Stephen Stills gave their first public performance of their collaboration in five years.
Additionally, Graham Nash paid tribute to David Crosby during the show by making a video appearance during the show.
“For almost to half a century, David was my closest buddy.
It is going to be very difficult for me to move on without him in my life. Before footage was played of Crosby and Nash performing “Guinnevere” in 2013 at Lincoln Center, Nash said, “I think about him every day.”
Stills paid further respect to Crosby by performing “Wooden Ships,” a song that he co-wrote with Crosby and Paul Kantner. He was joined onstage by his son Chris Stills and James Raymond, who is Crosby’s son and a longtime musical collaborator. Stills also paid tribute to Paul Kantner.

Following performances by Joe Walsh and Willie Nelson, the highlight of the evening was an 11-song set by Young and Stills, with Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real providing backing music. Before Stills joined on piano for CSNY’s “Helpless” together they played five Buffalo
