Hasin Jahan, the wife of Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami, has made new allegations against him by appealing to the Supreme Court against the order issued by the Calcutta High Court, which suspended the execution of an arrest warrant against the cricketer.
Hasin Jahan alleged that Mohammed Shami had clandestine affairs and sexual relations with prostitutes throughout their marriage. She asserted that he had previously harassed her for dowry and physically assaulted her.
Mohammed Shami’s wife, Hasin Jahan, has made startling allegations against the cricketer, claiming that he engaged in “illicit extramarital affairs” and “had sexual relations with prostitutes in hotel rooms booked by BCCI” while on BCCI cricket tours.
BCCI hotel rooms were used by Mohammed Shami for sex encounters with prostitutes.’
Jahan asserted that he engages in sexual relations with other women in hotel rooms in the present day, and when she attempted to speak out against this, Mohammed Shami and his family assaulted her.
The petition that Hasin Jahan’s attorney submitted to the Supreme Court stated, “When the petitioner raised her voice against it, she was assaulted and harassed by her husband and his family members, who also constantly demanded dowry from her.”
Mohammed Shami allegedly also harassed and threatened his wife Hasin for dowry, prompting her to submit a police report and seek an arrest warrant for the cricketer. She also urged the court not to approach the Team India player differently due to his celebrity status.
The Mohammed Shami vs. Hasin Jahan case has been stayed in court for the past four years and has not moved forward, and the wife has claimed that the case was biased against her.
Hasin Jahan had previously published incriminating chats against Mohammed Shami, in which he was allegedly engaging in sexually suggestive conversation with a woman and inviting her to his hotel room.
