Choi Sung-Bong, a well-known singer in Korea who placed second on the talent competition Korea’s Got Talent, took his own life on Wednesday in Seoul. He was 33.
Before he passed away, he wrote a statement and uploaded it on YouTube. Choi Sung-bong sent his ‘farewell’ message to YouTube.
The law enforcement officials had a hunch that this was a suicide. According to the claims, an autopsy will soon be performed.

On Choi Sung-bong’s YouTube channel was a post that stated he was saying goodbye to his followers for the final time in his life. He stated that he was already dead by the time they were able to witness it, if that was even possible.
He expressed regret for his actions and informed me that he had returned the entirety of the funds that had been sent to him over the course of the previous two years.
He revealed that in order to absolve himself of the consequences of his actions, he is going to have to take extreme action.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Choi’s incredible journey started with a rough childhood, which was highlighted by financial troubles that caused him to forgo his goals of attending music school.
Choi’s upbringing was also distinguished by a lack of support from his family. In spite of this obstacle, he persisted in his efforts to provide for himself and worked as a day laborer for a number of years.
In 2011, Choi entered an audition for Korea’s Got Talent, a well-known show that was shown on tvN. This was the year when his life took an astonishing turn for the better.
Following his success on Korea’s Got Talent, his professional life took a turn for the worst in 2021 when he claimed that he had deceived his followers by pretending to have cancer in order to solicit donations for cancer research.
