The most recent music video offering from Lewis Capaldi has brought tears to the eyes of his devoted followers.
A few days ago, the Scottish singer shared the official music video for his most recent single, which is titled “Wish you the Best.” The video moved many of his admirers to tears.
As they go about their day-to-day lives, an elderly postman named John (played by David Bradley, who also starred in the Harry Potter films) and his faithful companion, Willow the dog, are followed by the camera in the stirring music video.
Willow is the only one left to grieve the loss of her master at the cemetery of John after his untimely passing.
However, fortunately for Willow, she is found and taken in by a younger postman (the role of which was played by actor Tom Lewis), who takes care of her until she passes away and is reunited with the man she cherished, John.
Fans have been left speechless, praising Lewis for creating yet another emotional masterpiece after watching the extremely moving music video.
“That was one of the most beautiful, saddest tear-jerking videos I have ever seen where to go, Mr. Capaldi,” said one viewer after watching the clip in question. Cried so hard that I am unable to take a breath through my nose right now.
Someone else remarked, “There goes Lewis again… For me, this will be one that stands the test of time. Oh, the tears that followed each and every syllable. Outstanding work by one of the most approachable artists out there.”
However, another supporter chimed in, saying, “Respectfully, I’m balling my eyes out.” I don’t think I’ve ever seen a music video that was more emotionally raw than that one. Amazing.”
