The Indian High Commission in London has raised a larger tricolor in response to the removal of India’s national flag by pro-Khalistani protestors on Sunday afternoon (local time). In a widely shared social media video, a representative of the Indian High Commission is seen saving the tricolor from a hardline Sikh activist and tossing away the Khalistani flag.

Mission officials stated that the “attempted but failed” attack had been averted and that the tricolor was now flying “grander.” The officer was praised for confronting separatist elements and snatching a Khalistani flag from a demonstrator observed hanging from the first-floor window sill.
