The second and last chapter of the historical drama Ponniyin Selvan 2 by filmmaker Mani Ratnam is scheduled for release on April 28, 2023.

While the film’s first song was just published, the trailer for Ponniyin Selvan 2 will be unveiled on March 29, 2023, according to the producers.
“Ponniyin Selvan 1,” the magnum opus directed by the great director Mani Ratnam, was well received by both critics and the general public. The film is a historical epic drama based from Kalki Krishnamurthy’s novel.
Recently, a promotional image of Chiyaan Vikram as Aditha Karikalan was revealed, confirming that the film’s trailer will be forthcoming. Vikram, Aishwarya Rai, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, and Trisha Krishnan play pivotal parts in the epic opus. The project also includes actors Prakash Raj, R Sarath Kumar, Prabhu, Parthian, Ashwin Kakumanu, and others.
