Lewis Hamilton is one of the finest F1 drivers in the annals of motorsport, but he does not want to be limited to just racing the fastest vehicles. The seven-time world champion is an adrenaline addict who engages in multiple adventure sports during his vacations.

In addition to Surfing, Skydiving, learning to operate an airplane, and even dirt bicycling, skateboarding and snowboarding are two of Hamilton’s favorite sports. And identical to his routine profession, the British athlete’s skills in other sports have not failed to astound the world.

Shaun White, a three-time Olympic gold medalist in snowboarding, was stunned by the Mercedes driver’s snowboarding abilities. In White’s most recent Instagram video, the American could not help but admire the Briton after he flawlessly executed a difficult snowboarding maneuver.

However, that was not the only highlight of his Antarctica winter excursion. As it turns out, Hamilton also attempted something few would venture to attempt. Having accompanied White on the expedition, the complete group of companions went snowboarding in the snowy Antarctic landscape.

White, a professional snowboarder, displayed his abilities by snowboarding down the glacier into the frigid Antarctic water. Hamilton could not resist the excitement and attempted to replicate White’s motion, but was unsuccessful.

However, this did not kill his determination. According to White’s Instagram post, “Hamilton is such an institution. He had the courage to follow me across the Antarctic water, and when he failed, he promptly climbed back up, drenched and frigid, to try again! This is the mentality of a champion, and I adored seeing it.”
